OBSERVATION LOG — EARTH

FRAGMENT TL-3350 · Younger Dryas · ARCHIVE

There is a black layer in your soil. Same depth, same date, on every continent: twelve thousand eight hundred years ago. Under it, large animals and settlements. Over it, a thousand years of almost nothing, and then your species starts again, from memory, badly. You call the layer a climate event. My file gives the date and not the cause. The pages that would say which came first were removed before the file reached me. I keep the refusals.
